Providing seed capital needed to provide services and nutrition to Tsumeb's kids.

Introductions

TOV Multipurpose Centre is truly an appropriate name; their range of activities spans from running a pre-school, a daycare, a computer training program, a bicycle shop, to a farming project--whatever it takes to help the community and to raise funds to feed and educate orphans and vulnerable children.

The Project

They requested help with their new outreach into agriculture business; farming crops, raising animals, and even harvesting sunlight, all to create a consistent source of funding needed to self-sustain their variety of nonprofit activities to benefit the local community and the kids. By basing their approach in crops, milk, and animals, they can provide the benefits of nutritious food to these kids at the lowest possible cost, maximizing their impact.

Progress Update!

Tov has joined the business of buying and selling milk from local farmers to the community nearby. This project will improve nutrition, boost local economy, generate funds for Tov's nonprofit activities, and allow Tov to provide free milk to the kids. This is a wonderful idea and we are proud to have helped enable it!
